1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the training, educational and professional development activities provided by [Your Name / Business Name] ("the Facilitator"). By registering for and participating in the programme, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Nature of the Service

The programme is an educational and professional development space intended for therapists and other helping professionals.

The programme is designed to support learning, reflection, discussion and professional growth. It is not psychotherapy, counselling, coaching, supervision, medical treatment or healthcare.

Participation does not establish a therapist-client, supervisor-supervisee, doctor-patient or other professional treatment relationship between participants and the Facilitator.

3. Professional Responsibility

Participants remain solely responsible for their own professional practice, clinical decisions and client work.

Any information shared during sessions is intended for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional judgement, clinical supervision, consultation, medical advice or legal advice.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that any interventions or approaches discussed are appropriate, evidence-based and within their own scope of competence and professional accreditation requirements.

4. No Medical Advice

Information presented within the programme is provided for educational purposes only.

Nothing shared during the programme should be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations or individual healthcare guidance.

Participants should seek appropriate medical, psychological, legal or other professional advice where required.

5. Fees and Payment

Membership fees are payable in advance and must be received before access is granted.

Where membership is provided on a recurring subscription basis, payments will continue automatically until cancelled by the participant.

Failure to make payment may result in suspension or termination of access.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Participants may cancel their membership at any time.

Unless otherwise stated, payments already made are non-refundable.

Where a participant cancels, access will continue until the end of the current paid period.

If the Facilitator cancels a scheduled live event, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule it. If this is not possible, participants may be offered alternative arrangements at the Facilitator's discretion.

7. Confidentiality

The programme may involve discussion of professional experiences, clinical reflections and personal observations.

Participants agree to maintain the confidentiality of information shared by other participants and not to disclose identifying details outside the group.

Client confidentiality must be maintained at all times. Participants must ensure that any case material discussed is appropriately anonymised and does not contain identifying information.

While all participants are expected to uphold confidentiality, absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in a group setting.

8. Recording and Materials

Participants may not record, reproduce, distribute or publicly share sessions without the prior written permission of the Facilitator.

Any recordings, slides, handouts or other materials provided remain the intellectual property of the Facilitator unless otherwise stated.

Materials are provided for personal educational use only and may not be reproduced, sold, shared or incorporated into commercial training without written permission.

9. Data Protection and GDPR

Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information collected may include contact details, payment information and records necessary for administration of the programme.

Personal information will not be sold to third parties.

Participants have the right to request access to their personal data, request corrections and, where applicable, request deletion of their data.

10. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to engage respectfully and professionally.

Harassment, discrimination, bullying, abusive behaviour or conduct that disrupts the learning environment may result in removal from the programme without refund.

The Facilitator reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed inappropriate or detrimental to the learning environment.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Facilitator makes no guarantees regarding professional, clinical, personal or financial outcomes arising from participation in the programme.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Facilitator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in the programme or reliance upon its content.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion would be unlawful.

12. Changes to the Programme

The Facilitator reserves the right to modify programme content, schedules, guest speakers, delivery methods or membership arrangements where reasonably necessary.

Reasonable notice will be provided where significant changes occur.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from participation in the programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
